Yes, it was dirty and humid and I did get sick with Hepatitis, but SO GLAD I WENT! I even considered moving there! It’s just a different world. It was refreshing to go somewhere that was so “real”! It’s a very poor country and so many people are starving and disease ridden. Sad to see, but humbling. It makes you look at life a little deeper and be grateful for all you’ve got. I went to one of the poorest areas in India, Chennai (AKA Madrid). I visited slums, Mother Theresa orphanages, and an AIDS home for children. I love the people! They were so welcoming, kind, and joyful! I also visited the coast and saw peacocks and beautiful coastal weather! Like I said, it’s definitely worth visiting!

Cabo was a desert with planted grass and palm trees in the tourist area to make it more lush. Cabo Wabo was WAY overrated, and the other bars were crowded and overpriced. The water was kinda choppy, and there just wasn’t too much to do. On the flip side, our resort (Marina Fiesta) was incredible! I spent most of my time out by the pool relaxing. The food all over Cabo is just delicious! I had 6 fresh lobster tails for only $20! I enjoyed snorkeling, and would have loved to go diving or para-sailing, but it was so overpriced. I guess I was just expecting a more tropical atmosphere with still, clear water. Next time I’m going to Cancun.
