plan on spending most of a day here. there is lots to see. be sure to bring some warm clothes, it’s cold on top of the volcano even when it’s hot at the beach.

worth a day trip if you’re already in the area. Beer is cheap and easy to find. don’t go out of your way for it though. lots of guys kept offering to buy our puppy “i make 50 tacos out of him senior!”

if you happen to be driving down that highway then it’s worth stopping in to buy a bumper sticker but don’t go too far out of your way. there isn’t much here other than a cafe gas station and an RV park
