Definately worth visiting, although it can be dangerous. The gardens are unbelievable. The shadow puppet plays at the base of the volcano are worth seeing. Hawkers are a bit intimidating because they’re very pushy but the culture and the sea life is what really makes this place stand out. There are many islands but Komodo is worth checking out. I lived in Thailand for three and a half years (and have been visiting the country for over ten years). Thailand holds a special place in my heart.

Bangkok is lively, smelly and dirty but full of rich contrasts. The islands though becoming more crowded are unbeatable. The northern parts of thailand are rugged and beautiful.

This is a place I would gladly revisit. I’ve taken a train in from Switzerland and spent time in Rome checking out the history, art and architecture. I’ve love to see other cities in Italy, as well. Wonderful place with charming people.
