the taro & yam chips are great!

i usually end up at a cactus club or a white spot when we can’t decide where to eat. i keep telling myself to not go back to cactus club because i almost always end up disappointed with my meal. although, i did enjoy my meal at the west van cactus club earlier in the summer. can’t remember what i had exactly – maybe a seafood pasta of some sort, but it wasn’t so bad. and the last time i went, actually, was my first date with michael. again, there wasn’t anything on the menu i felt like eating, but we shared an apple pie for desert, and i will give cactus club some merit for having a very good apple pie.

i used to live in this neighbourhood. i grew up on pender street half a block away from stratchona elementary. the house we lived in is over 100 years old and still standing. i miss this neighbourhood but it started getting unsafe right before we moved away.

i’ve been to this theatre twice & haven’t experienced anything bad or out of the ordinary in comparison to other theatres.
