I had the good fortune to visit London on the job and my co-worker had lived in London for 3 years prior to living in the States. So, I got a very local’s-eye-view of the city. I loved it. I worked with the people who lived there, went to the pubs with them after work and then visited the rest of London as if it were actually a temporary home. It was a great experience.
