Hooray for the birthplace of Southwest Airlines!

    The Alamo

    Worth visiting!

Just went here with my boyfriend last week. A lot of people say it’s disappointing because it’s smaller than expected and is right in the middle of downtown San Antonio, but I really had a great time and thought it was interesting. We went on a Sunday that was supposed to be void of any special events there, and still caught a documentary screening, re-enactment of soldiers and sort of a music festival. It was neat. :)

Above, of course, is the obligatory photo of me in a Davy Crockett hat. :)

    Texas

    Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

I finally went here! My boyfriend recently moved to Dallas to begin working for Texas Instruments, so I flew down during my spring break this year to see him and stayed for a little over a week. This was my first time ever visiting Texas, but I’ll certainly be returning! Looks as though I may even be living here in the not-so-distant-future. :) We visited San Antonio/The Alamo, as well. All around a great experience. :)
