Better the Acapulco because there is less crime, lower hotel prices, boys who deliver drinks right to your towel and far far fewer people on the beach.

This place has what life is all about, great landscapes, friendly people, history, fresh food, narrow roadways and just all around spiritual beauty! If I could land a successful writing career and a UK passport, this is where I would live!

My heart and soul sleep together peacefully on an archaic hillside in Avalon, overlooking a natural well adorned with apple trees and when my body is weary, my mind knotted, I go back to their resting place to awaken my spirit once more. Only then does life’s beauty dance naked and free upon the path of my life and the Goddess within me rise to celebrate the limitless magic of the universe.

I went to the war protest before we invaded Iraq, holding a sign that said “Witches United Against War!” It didn’t do much good but I got to freeze my ears off in front of the Lincoln Monument. :)

Lived in Massachusetts most of my life so have been to Boston countless times. Must sees: the harbor, the children’s museum, the New England aquarium, paul revere’s house, faneuil hall, fenway park, quincy market, the huntington theatre and the old north church; eats: clam chowder, lobster and a grinder (pronounced grI-N-dah.)

The home of patriotism, Hawthorne, Thoreau, Emerson and Alcott. Don’t miss Walden Pond, the Manse and Orchard House! Go, true life is waiting for you!

If you are going for the history and the museums or for the seaside cuisine, it’s worth it. If you are going because you are looking for pagan spirituality or a wiccan mecca, skip it. It is all hype and creative merchandising strategically planned to empty your pockets and lure in unsuspecting guinea pigs for the local hexters to practice on. Save a few more dollars and head to Glastonbury, England….that is actually a spiritual home for many pagans, minus all the “witch wars” so common on our side of the pond.
