We are going to chicago next week and we have reservations for thursday night. I am SO excited!

I interviewed this week with Jim Drohman, one of the owners and the executive chef for here and Le Pichet, and it sounds sooo good. It will continue the Le Pichet tradition of making in-house as much as humanly possible including all the charcuterie and stuff like that. I can’t wait!

was delicious and forever memorable. I had the most amazing truite aux amandes. it was like eating cake except that it was fish. buttery and lemony. I’ll have a better review later on my blog or something. totally worth it.

I was a little disappointed after the big build up that it recieved from everyone I talked to and every review I read. I’m gonna have to give my own review pretty soon and it might not be pretty.

I was seven or eight. I haven’t been back since. All I remember is the sharks. I love sharks. I would like to go there again so I can remember more than the sharks, but that will have to be the next time I am in Baltimore.

So beautiful. I had the best moules frites of my life in La Rochelle, and other good things too. I would definitely go back for, maybe, ever.

Drunk. That’s all. Drunk. We couldn’t go to Graceland so we just searched for a mint Julep. Very hard to find on Beale St. That’s okay though, because we drank enough other stuff to make up for it and ended up sitting in Budweiser square or whatever it is and trying to sober up before driving on to Arkansas.

I was not sober in Kansas. First of all I was hallucinating due to lack of sleep and suffering somewhat from heat exhaustion. Then we ate a particular hallucinogen with starts with m but that does not end in m. We went to a vineyard show-room? and tasted KANSAS wine and then we camped on the edge of this gigantic manmade lake which was acutally a reservoir. It was kind of like that movie titus. Lots of sticks and stuff poking out of the mud and little shells all over the place. Weird. And bats. yeah. the only thing to do in Kansas for sure, if you just happen to be passin through.

Don’t order a large salad unless there are at least six people. unless all you are eating is salad, then it’s enough for probably just three or four. The large salad is HUGE. and all are delicious. yum.

I love Washington. It’s so beautiful and full of trees and waterways and other really great adventure inspiring stuff. Not to mention Seattle which is a pretty great city. And Mountains and good beaches and yeah, Washington is pretty great.
