I've been waiting...
for the Hobbits to leave. Maybe it’s safe to go this year?

over 6 years agoAnd going back this summer to visit friends. It’s an amazing city, rich with art, film, architecture, theatre, and history. Browse the bookshops along Oxford Street, hang out in the parks and pubs, visit the Strangers Gallery at the House of Commons, and people watch at Trafalgar Square. For museums, I’d recommend the British Museum (esp. if you “dig” archaeology) and the National Museum for paintings. I hope to get to the Albert and Victoria museum this time.
Don’t worry about drinking too much in the pubs. You’ll walk it off on the streets. The food could be better, but you can’t beat the Indian cuisine this side of New Delhi. ;)
