I went to Paris with my mom, and STILL had a good time. Everyone was plenty friendly, even though I was American AND Spanish. The food, of course, was obscene. I would advise in favor of them cleaning up after their dogs a bit more, though.

They say going to London doesn’t really count as visiting England, so I’m curious as to where I spent those three kickass days. Lots of tourists of course, and lots of friendly, drunk-ass English people. Oh yeah, and that one guy. He was a jerk, but sucks to him. London was fun. I wandered around aimlessly and managed to happen upon most major landmarks by sheer accident.

My mom is from here, and I spent a lot of my childhood here. I was back recently, and it’s just as eclectic and beautiful and fun as I remember, if not moreso. Of course, there’s always Madrid, but Murcia will always feel more like home to me.

Beautiful city, friendly people, and incredible food. I ask the obvious hypothetical question.

Oh man, anyone who knows me knows how I feel about this place. I drove through here with a friend on our way to Portland, and we were gonna stay overnight, and we hated the place so much that we decided to drive non-stop instead. BAD IDEA, but still, sucks to Rock Springs.

Fun story: We were filling up the car at a gas station, and one of the attendants offered me ten dollars to punch my friend in the face. ROCK SPRINGS RULES.

My little sister lives here, and I’m psyched about it, because it gives me an excuse to visit her and her kickass city. I almost lived here, but then I didn’t. I know you needed to know that.

I have a confession to make. I have a long-standing crush on San Francisco. I’ve visited several times since childhood for a variety of reasons, and I never get tired of it. Someday I might make that leap and move there, but in the meantime I’m happy to hang out once in a while and just be friends.

This is my second summer here, and I’m just as thrilled to be here as I was the first time. It’s like falling off a log to get a job here to pay you enough to afford the exhorbitant prices here and still save some dosh for the wintertime, and you get some serious adventure out of the deal if you play your cards right. Not only is this place great, but from here, I’ve gone on weekend trips to Boston and Portland, Maine, and this year I might scoot out to New York for a bit. It’s all just a few hours away! Normally, I’m not a big fan of summertime, and now I look forward to it. Gush gush gush.

I schooled it up here for two years, and every season brought something new to goggle at in wonderment. The sunsets here will make your head explode, but in a good way.

I grew up here, and feel damn lucky for it.
