the whole experience was very bourgeois. But that’s not such a bad thing. Since we are on a budget my husband and I sat in the courtyard area and had drinks and dessert. Very relaxing and I loved the topiaries.

This had been on my to do list forever and finally went. Very cool memorial. I loved the flowers on the stone. I also watched the movie Across the Universe the next day and was excited to rediscover the Beatles again.

I went here a few years ago and would love to go back up this fall when the leaves are turning. Perhaps after the baby is born. When I went it was August and my best friend and I went swimming in the freezing cold lake. It was worth it.

I went here for a wedding this year. My friends who live here are happy enough but I can’t imagine living in such a small town.

I’m living out of a motel in long island with my husband waiting to move into our new apartment in Queens so I am jobless and have lots of time on my hands. Yesterday I figured I would take a drive to the famous hamptons and check it out. I had such a wonderful time. I hadn’t done an alone trip (table for 1 included) since I’ve been married and it was nice to see I still had my solitary sense of adventure. I have to admit that I keep wanting to point stuff out to a husband who wasn’t there (working) so while I had fun I think I am appreciating him in ways I may not have in the past. Southampton treated me very kindly. I got out of a speeding ticket (thank you officer), saw a cool art show, smelled the very missed ocean breeze, and stuffed my face with the turkey special. It was a longer drive than I thought but still happy to know we are much closer to the ocean and already excited to swim in the summer time.

Loved it, though I want to go back and site see a little better since I went there with a bunch of drunkards. The architecture was the best part.
