I spent 2 weeks in Egypt in April/May 2007… the country is incredible! I visited temples, pyramids, monuments, museums…. all in awe of the history. I felt like pinching myself many times because it felt so surreal. It never occured to me when I was younger that I would get the opportunity to go to Egypt.

I’m going to Egypt in 13 days!!! Pretty excited. Will be going with a friend for 2 weeks.

Visited some of my father’s family there… step aunts’ families. First time ever to Taiwan for me. Saw Taipai 101 which looks really cool at night with the different lights glowing. Chiang Kai Shek Memorial is a really pretty area.

I went to Beijing in December for 3 nights I believe it was. Went to all the regular tourist spots. It was interesting to see once but I dunno if I would go back if I had the chance. Lots of history there thats for sure. I also went to Europe for 3 months this past year so I think it was just hard to compare Beijing to being in Europe because you just can’t. It was freezing cold in December… dry cold at -15! Everyone had ski jackets on and touques and scarfs and gloves. Your crazy if you don’t! It makes your skin so dry being there.

Been to LA a couple times to visit family. Only remember heading to Universal Studios and DisneyLand. I have a friend that lives in Cali somewhere so maybe I’ll go back one day to visit her. I don’t think I could ever see myself living permantly in a place like LA. Just seems so superficious. I think I just watch too much Sex in the REAL city.

I went here about 8 yrs ago or so. What’s not to like. Ok, so I couldn’t gamble back then because I was underage, but Vegas is becoming more than just a gamblers paradise now. Theirs more to do… amusement parks, nice hotels, shopping, shows, etc. I wouldn’t mind coming back here in the future… to gamble then of course.

I’ve been to Seattle a couple of times.. only 4 hrs from Vancouver where I live. Its pretty similar to Vancouver in a lot of respects.. I guess I just don’t find us West Coast cities much different since we get a lot of Washington State programming on our TV here. They sure love their Starbucks here.

I drove up from Vancouver and spent a week here.. weird time for me because the day we left I just flew back from Europe where I spent 3 months so I was sooooo missing backpacking. But at least it helped my missing travelling syndrome by going on another trip. It is beautiful here.

Disney World is so much better than Disney Land.. more to see. Don’t forget Universal Studios. It was hot, hot, hot when we were there.

Went with my brother and my 2 cousins in May to visit their brother who is studying there. It was good to know someone there to take us to the not so well.. touristy places. I remember being in a traffic jam in the car for like 2 hours! Not to be repeated. Car like didn’t move at all for that long. Do the climb up to Diamond Head.. beautiful. This was my 2nd time in Hawai’i. Went to Hawai’i when I was 9 years old too with my family.
