Broken Spur Line Dance Club

Worth visiting!

Why I recommend this place to locals

(The above photo was taken by yours truly at our 50’s theme dance party a few months ago.)

If you’re bored with your average lives here in Claiborne County
then you need to join the Broken Spur Dance Club.
Kris is the instructor for the Wednesday night beginner class.
Charlie is the instructor for the Thursday night intermediate class.
Both classes are only $3.oo per night and start at 7pm.
Usually, a dance party is held on the first Saturday of every month, but the days will vary. The dance parties are $4.00 if you attend, and the members are asked to also bring a covered dish.On the dance party nights everyone dances until they’re ready to leave-which is usually around 11pm. :)
We even go around and perform! The last performance I was in was at the Grainger County Tomatoe Festival in July, and it was a blast!

~We’re located in the American Legion Building below
Soldier’s Memorial Middle School in Tazewell.

Claiborne County

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

If you want good Mexican food then eat at El Mariachi in the Old Town Plaza or the El Mariachi:Sports Bar & Grill beside the Pizza Inn in Tazewell.

My fav food at either place is the “enchilda suprema”.
It’s got to be the best Mexican food around!

Church Of Jesus

Why I want to go to this place

I want to go to Manduari because there are many little children that need my help. I am going to be a missionary there and I’ve met several wonderful people that are already doing God’s work.

There names are REV. PAUL & FLORA JESUDOSS.
Paul is the senior pastor there.
Everyone at this mission site are
building orphanages and schools for the children.
They have sent me a photo of the Siloam Orphanage,
and many other photos of the chidren they are helping.

The information I added to this location is
the same info that you may use to contact them.

Dollywood

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

The last time I went to Dollywood was fall of last year
while on a four-day trip in the Great Smokey Mountains.
The first ride of the day was “Thunderhead”.
Since I love rollercoasters I was all excited because
I’d never rode it before.
Me and my uncle Jim got in the very front
and my uncle Bill and cousin Danny got behind us.
Photographers and a film crew were there filming
a new DW commercial, so I may be on TV.
Anyway-when the ride started I had my right foot braced
on the side of the car and apparently I was bracing toooo much.
When I got off the ride I could only hobble because I’d sprained my ankle! That wasn’t any fun.
I went to ride the train I think the one for that day was named “Cinderella”. After the train-ride was over I was hobbling alongside the train and I saw the “conductor” getting off the train. I asked him if I could take his pic with the engine for my little brother and he said,”Sure, but I might break your camera.” Most of the people I ask to take a picture of say that, but there was no way that this man could break a camera. He was sooo “charming”-I guess that’d be the only way to describe him. :) Anyway, I took his pic and that kindof cheered me up after my little ankle episode on the Thunderhead.

If you go to Dollywood make sure to take a ride on one of their trains! And say “hi” to the conductor for me… ;)

Buckingham Palace

Why I want to go to this place

I want to go to Buckingham Palace for two reasons.

1.I want to see the wonderful artitecture.

2. I want to go to because I’m a member of the royal family.

My name, is in the enormous family book there.
A friend of my aunt’s went there and looked in the records and told us that we were actually in the book. That was a wonderful suprise seeing how we only “thought” that we “might” be in the book fpr many years. Our family name is “Buchanan” and if you visit Buckingham Palace I’d love to hear if you also find me in the book.
