That’s the best advice I can give. I left for JA in Dec, and returned during a snow storm in January. In Boston. I could not believe that I had chosen to return to the cold snowed in place that I called home vs. paradise. It’s beautiful. I spend time all about the isle and I have to say that the only thing that makes it ugly is the other countries helping themselves to seconds all over the island.

Lived here while a freshman attending Columbia for a semseter. Hated the weather but loved the city and the people. Very real folk. Don’t know any other way to say it. But great food, look out for the multiple eateries on the same freaking block downtown. Great clubs and people.

Lived in Boston for over 30 years. Hated while I was there, really the snow more than anything. The city has so much to do! It’s a walkers paradise. I really miss the Charles, Harvard and Central Square. I miss the freaking T and the sarcasm. But I’ll be back for a visit sooner than later.
