unbelievable. The most beautiful city I’ve ever seen. Hands down

Such a beautiful city, a jewel in the heart of the wild expanses of Sud America… Its a wild experience to be in a place, so very European and stylish, but with odd customs- example, their hours a bit later than ours: on average dinner is consumed at the earliest 8:30pm, usually much later – clubs open at 2am (couldn’t find one to dance in before then), and people don’t usually go to sleep earlier than 3 or 4am, if it a weekend perhaps 8 or 10am… Forreal! No wonder they have the highest per-capita population of psychaitrists in the world…

straight from Delhi, I ended up in JFK airport with negative funds and a handful of glass…

what beauty that exists irrelative.. people so kind, sweet, shy, and giving.. and small! mountains of breathtaking views, a culture alive with Buddhism and nature.

what a beautiful, serene place~ dining with my friend riverside in the perfect environment, boats floating peacefully by the strands of yellow lights ~ the incredible hotel/resorts, Mandarin Deva Devai, and the Four Seasons, with their functioning rice-patties in the heart, giant rooms, gorgeously artistic spa~
I might come back here to work.

we’re going to Paro first, then Thimpu

For kicks I used to go spend a day walking amongst the fashion elite and their stores in Harajuku ~ don’t miss the back streets packed with tiny botiques selling some of the most exciting, interesting, fascinating and expensive new/experimental fashions… and if you continue walking down the main street past the main shopping district for about 15 min, you’ll see one of the most fabulous buildings in the world – the Prada build is a flux of undulating glass in a small green yard. Please check it out.
