I’ve been there twice, the first time for 4 months and the second for a month and a half. Best trip ever!!! The beach is so calm and beautiful and so is the water. The locals are pretty friendly; they took really good care of us. There is always something going on to keep you occupied, so you’ll never get bored. And the food…AWESOME!!! I gained a few pounds being over there! LOL! I loved this place!!!

I stopped through Ireland on my way home. It look like a quaint little country, the grass is so green and lush. I would love to go back and check out the sites.

I went through Qatar twice during my deployment. The base is hot and dry, but it’s totally different off base. The traffic is crazy and there’s so much to do. It’s not what I expected at all. The most memorable part about being there is meeting up with my best friend (he did a one year tour there as a contractor). I wouldn’t mind going back one day.

I just returned from Iraq about 4 months ago. You hear about the war on the news, but it’s nothing like actually being there in the middle of it all.

I’ve been to Germany three times (I just went again last Monday), and every time I go, I have so much fun there!

I had a layover and had to stay in Singapore for two days. I didn’t know what to expect. It’s such a fast paced city, but it was pretty nice. Great food and great shopping!!!
