I just remember the Kozy.

I went to my first bar in Banff.

I ended up there after getting lost on my way to Calgary.

Beautiful!

This was my favorite place in Las Vegas. It smelled of years and years of lost money and missed opportunities. Most of the people there had probably been there since the 50’s. The bartender was incredible and had story after story of the good old days. Go to Binions before they implode it for a Disney Casino.

Don’t eat the $.99 shrimp cocktail! erp.

I grew up here!

It is a completely different place now than it was then, and even then it was a completely different place than it used to be.

A perfect example of a tourist town, catering to people that visit and neglecting the people that live there.

my father never stopped on road trips…we finally convinced him he had to detour 50 miles out of the way to go to the Corn Palace. We got there mid-morning, late Summer, and the entire building was being attacked by birds. It was terrifying. People running everywhere…poop everywhere…corn flying all over the place….

we never even got out of the car.

and my father to this day uses the corn palace as an example of all the bad reasons to make stops on trips.
