I went to the university in holland for two years and thought it was crap. A very narrow minded town with major gang problems that the populous likes to sweep under the rug.

Stay at the Murray Hotel in Livingstone…it has a jacuzzi on the roof and the sky at night from up there is magic.

By far one of my favorite places I’ve ever been. It’s not touristy by any stretch. Authentic Italy. Authentic food. Authentic people. A bit dodgey after dark and daylight I suppose, and not the cleanest of cities but it all adds to the undeniable character of this city.

So worth visiting! Not as busy as I expected. Take the train from Roma to Napoli for the day…it’s two hours each way.

I’m going here on holiday in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone had any tips for restaurants/beaches that are suitable for families…but not in a tacky way. Any help would be great!

Sweden is very quiet – quite eery actually. Ate reindeer – was incredibly tasty. Food in Stockholm is incredible. Nightlife leaves much to be desired! There are so many rules in Scandanavia but they revel in breaking the rules.
