I used to live in this neighborhood. Although it is rapidly shifting towards its expensive neighbor Capitol Hill, it still has a family-oriented and community feel, along with the best Ethiopian restaurants in the city. A short walk into the International District and close to First Hill.

gotta love this quiet town and the tidal Damariscotta River. lovely, cool, foggy some days, sunny other days, lobster fishermen, rocks, seaweed.
