My sister lives in Geneva with her husband and baby son (haven’t seen my nephew since his christening In Adelaide when he was six months old). She was last posted in new york and I regret that I didn’t get there. Determined to do it this posting ( got 2.5 years)
over 5 years agoI had a wild three days, loads of afghani hash and Bombay Saphhire. The traffic crawls, harbour glistens, people are crazy friendly. All colour and chaos. Over 4 million living in slums, and the most oppulent hotels at the other extreme. A burgeoning middle class, beautifully spoken English, fantastic food especially in Bandra. Its all good, just try not to get stuck in the jam!
