Returning to Koh chang for those heady pleasures

Jumping onto a motorcycle and riding around to beaches, to waterfalls or just to small towns. at around 200b/day
A day out on a boat (at about 500b or 1000b/day for speed… )
for snorkeling.
Or just being lazy in a beautiful bungalow with a great view.

Koh samet would still be a great place to visit again if you didn’t have much time on your hands but still wanted to expirence thai island seaside resorts

I enjoyed Koh Tao more for the friends i was with then the place it self.The place was layed back and so nice (not really nice places to swim around the accommodation area, though a day boat trip for snorkeling was very nice.

Diver paradise though; there must be so much competition that you could get some very good prices here.

first time in tasmania i visited in winter time, having spent a few months in Indonesia’s warm climit. Oh was it cold! I couldn’t wear enough layers to keep warm.
Only for Love would I have lived there.

Though you get used to weather after a while. The beauty of nature was so nice to explore all those years ago.

a great place to visit, just a few hours out of Bangkok (more if by bus). so it’s not an epic to get back to bangkok in the evening the next day—a good weekend trip, popular for people from bangkok.

I like a beach to have hills in the background so a few hours more (or a quick flight from Bkk)then your in Koh chang

The last time i went here… OMG (OMB) i got stuck in a people traffic jam around the clock-tower… 10 minutes of trying to flow out of the sunday people traffic jam wasn’t so plesent.As long as you kept out of some over-crowding areas one can easily move around and look at 10000 of similar produce with 1 in 100 shops selling something different and having great style.
I guess that’s shopping… not my thing but i can see why so many people come to visit JJ markets.

Having a dear friend here is the best reason to visit again for me. The last time i visited the sky was so hazy, giving a dream like feel as i sat around in the shade.
The best part about Hua Hin is getting out of the city area and visiting the seaside.

I took a walk in the main area to the seaside and saw the backyard of the hilton … very strange… it felt so much like a zoo exibit. I was waiting for the voice-over explaining all about why so many people sat on deckchairs on the grass of the hilton backyard overlooking the beach.

There was a paradox where the water looked so inviting but hardly anybody was swimming. The water looked safe and clean. I didn’t feel much like swimming there too.

so long ago but still captured in memory, kuranda a great place to go, especially staying after the day tripers leave for the day and the town is quiet and peacful. To explore around the town and along the river…I walked the river bank down to the waterfalls. Along the path were thousands of tiny frogs.. Each step my girlfriend and i took was a careful one to miss the jumping baby frogs on the grassy path.

I would have loved to visit bkk for songkrang this year. So many kids have the most fun.
It’s at the hight of summer and getting sprayed with water may seem like a fun thing.
This little boy in the black car looked so cool, I expected any second that a water gun would be locked and loaded, aimed at me …
