Actually one of the most beautiful states in the U.S.

I really enjoyed the day spent at Burden Falls and look to go back and camp here very soon. We happen to stumble across this place almost by accident and have gone back several times since.

When I lived in Colorado Spring we used to go here all the time for drinks and meals. It is one of the most beautiful hotels in the United States and one of the must see destination stops on your Colorado Adventure!

Not a bad place to grow up, close enough to Chicago to go any time you wanted.

I took some old snow boards and did some sand dune skiing! Oh what fun, not that easy to walk up to the top, take a lot of water and be well rested for the hike up the 750 feet sand dunes

We camped here for about a week while exploring this particular region of colorado

It was very tourist oriented. I stayed there for a couple of days with my girlfriend at the time visiting her family who had lived there. “Jenny” grew up here in Minocqua. Jenny was, how should I say a little unbalanced, and freaked out most of the time there so I got to see only a small portion of the area but what I saw I liked. So there is a certain pizza place on the main road that starts with an “M” when there ask for the owner and tell them Jeff from Carbondale says hello.

The coastlines are beautiful, people are friendly, best time to go is in the summer to take advantage of great weather.

I almost got arrested in a fountain by the board walk while in Maine after a long night in the bars. Thank goodness they let me go!

Note: Don’t go into the fountains in Maine, they are just a little uptight up there you know! lol

Columbia is an ok college town but it is sort of in the middle of nowhere, I had a great time while visiting but don’t think I would pick this as one of my choices of college communities.

Not only did I graduate from the University here but also call Southern Illinois home! Southern Illinois offers the best outdoor recreation in Illinois so if you haven’t been here yet you are missing lots. We have many wineries since the climate and terrain mimic that of the best wine areas in the world. From festivals to hiking, fishing, boating, camping, site seeing or culture, SIUC and Southern Illinois are worth the look. Let me know your coming and I will be happy to play tour guide!
