Mount Washington, New Hampshire

Untitled

The weather is unpredictable and it can get VERY windy (70mph winds) so dress accordingly. The view from the summit is beautiful and you feel like you’re in the middle of the clouds. It is very rocky and reminds me of the landscape in Iceland (rocks with moss). You feel like you’re walking on the moon or some foreign planet.

Reykjavik, Iceland

Untitled

This is a city I would love to visit every season. Easily accessible from Boston as it’s only a 4.5 hour direct flight. Everyone speaks English, socializes ‘til dawn and wears black! It is an expensive city with the tax being 24%, but it’s well worth it. Take in the panoramic view from the tower of Hallgrimskirkja and enjoy Icelandic seafood from one of the many restaurants along Tjörnin. Next time I plan on exploring the rest of this beautiful island!

Seattle, King County

Untitled

You have mountains, volcanoes, ocean and nightlife all in one place! The Cascades are easily accessible for outdoor activities like hiking, skiing and mountain biking. Explore the islands off the coast like Whidbey, Vashon, Bainbridge and the San Juans. The most romantic view is from Kerry Park at the top of Queen Anne (took this pic last spring).
