I went here on a school exchange years ago. Now that I know more about the place’s archaeology and culture, I want to go back! Quimper was a really lovely city – Brest not so much. At all. But the countryside was incredible.

Just about worth visiting. It’s stressful tourist hell and so overpriced for Italy, though. But… it’s amazingly beautiful. :) The Medici Chapel… climbing the Duomo… the Museum of History of Science (just behind the Uffizi and really, really good)... not many cities quite like it.

Some of the most amazing ruins I’ve ever seen. Hire a bike, go to the night market, and chill out. Only two hours from Bangkok but very, very different.
