A tiny village atop a Pennine hill high above Hebden Bridge. Final resting place of “King” David, famed as one of the Cragg Vale Coiners. He was hanged for counterfeiting gold coins in the 16th Centuary.

It’s a nice quiet little village with a few pubs. Try the White Lion for a good pint of real ale. The cobbled streets, terraced housing, two churches in one yard and the open countryside all make for a good stroll or photo op.

The site of Tutbury Castle has been occupied for over 5000 years, it’s no surprise then that its home to many ghosts.
Tutbury has been featured on the TV series Mosh Haunted a few times and is also named in the Guinness Book of Records for holding the worlds biggest ghost hunt.
I’ve been there, I’ve stayed the night and I can vouch for it. Would yoU?

Its a really tiny village hidden away on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. Up on a hilltop in the middle of the village lies the haunted Tutbury Castle. Walk round it in the dead of night if you dare!

I went to Nijmegen in 2000 for the Dynamo Festival. Didn’t get to see the rest of the town, but it looked nice from the bus!

I went to Dynamo 2000 and saw Iron Maiden, Korn & Kittie amoungst others. Great festival and great people.

Its a small, industrial West Yorkshire town. Not much to see and do and a really poor road system. The only place worth visiting in Halifax is the Piece Hall.

During the day Xscape is the perfect family entertainment destination. Real snow slopes, climbing walls, bowling lanes, multi-screen cinema, an interactive games arena, great cafés and restaurants and excellent shopping make the daytime experience one to remember.

At night Xscape changes its face and becomes a 21st century Dine and Dance Destination. It’s a fantastic night out.

A great piece of history in North Yorkshire. If you’re planning to go to Fountains Abbey then why not stop off here as well, its only about half an hour away by car and really worth the visit. Its much nicer than Fountains too!

A nice little market town in North Yorkshire with great fish & chips and a really well kept medieval castle.

Not a really excting place and not much to do. Pop to Leeds or York instead.
