Imam Raharja

This one is located in East Java, the exit from Java to Bali. Few hours before we reach the Ketapang ferry port, beach sand in this area is almost similar with those in Bali, white, with softer grains.

The Pasir Putih beach is swarmed with hotels and resorts, a perfect place to drop by on the way to Bali.

Banyu Atis is one of the highlands of Bali. Most of the region consists of rocky hills, I forgot the name of the restaurant but it was located in a top of a big rock, they have their own coffee shop there, where I taste the best Bali coffee bean ever.

The weather there is weird, with a lot of mist, and where in other part of Indonesia the afternoon is getting dark, in here the daylight last longer, even if we know that in western part of Indonesia the time is an hour late.

During the trip with my big family, my cousin who lived and worked there in the resort where we stayed, took us to a remote beach belongs to the resort. We spent a day there, this beach also have a small lagoon. It’s one of the best beach I ever visited.

I’ve been to Bali alot, especially during my childhood. My family used to travel by road, in our car from Jakarta to Bali. My last memorable trip there is with my big family, with my cousins, uncle and aunts. There we spent more than we expected, and spent times with less attire, truly one of the most fun times I’ve ever had.
