Telford made up of towns, Ironbridge, Wellington, Coalbrookdale, Oakengates, Donnington, Hadley, Leegomerey, Telford Town Center, Madely and a bunch more I can not quite remember. Overflow town from Birmingham 1969, named after engineer Thomas Telford. Nice mix of small towns/villages and countryside, footpaths fields, oh and local pubs. Lived here 1979-1997 before moving to USA. Miss very much the simplicity of life here.

The photo is of the Wrekin. The local “hill” on the outskirts of Wellington a suburb of Telford. I last visited Shropshire England in August. I’d just visited for a week to bury my father. He died the previous week. England is a real gem. Such beauty and scenery everywhere. We lived in Shropshire on the Welsh border and Oxfordshire. My favorite area though is the Gower in South Wales, The Lake District and The Cotswolds.
