I have to admit I’ve got a bit more interest in Crazy Horse than Mt. Rushmore, but that’s because I’ve been following the progress on the monument for years. Then again I’m not too keen on paying to see things, so I may just take your advice and see it from the road.

No plans yet. I’m trying to visit all 50 states, and Idaho is one I need to hit. I’m looking for suggestions of where to go so I can make plans on whether it will just be a drive through or if there’s something worth visiting.

Thanks for the info. The two cemetaries are my kind of thing to visit, so I’ll have to consider them. I also love garlic, so the White House Grill sounds like a definite must.

I don’t know when I’ll actually schedule my visit to Idaho, but if it coincides with the fiddler’s finals, that would be fun. We have a fiddling competition here at the local Lumber Museum every year. Fun stuff.
