beautiful place
haiti is the most remarkable place in the world! the people there have the most amazing hearts and it breaks my own to see them in such poverty. if the “political situation” is scaring you away from going to haiti, don’t let it get the best of you. it is only unsafe in certain areas. people in haiti love to see tourists and mission workers. seeing people from other countries is encouraging in a way to the haitian people. to them, it shows that God has not forgotten them.
if you want to go to haiti, a great place to stay is at the st. joseph’s home for boys in petionville, right outside of port-au-prince. they have guest rooms there and the house is gorgeous!
you’ll enjoy your trip to haiti, no doubt.
