I have been to Cairo in summer, 2006.
It was too hot.
But the desert, the nile, the sphinx and the pyramids is a must see.
There is also a very eye-catching sharp contrast between the poor and the rich.
Almost no traffic lights and too many cars.
The local people like foreign women too much.
You may even get some proposals =)

Amsterdam is a cosmopolitan city with many people speaking English.
There are bikes everywhere.
The city is very expensive to live in.
And rainy all the time. I wonder how it keeps from floods.
A must see in a life time. Windmills and the museums around..

Rome is a really wonderful place to visit.
I recommend you visit the city during the summer, so that you can walk everywhere without worrying about the weather.
I’ve been there in summer, 2005 and didn’t take a single bus while travelling around the city since there is a thing to see in every corner. Besides the marvellous historical places, for women, there are really cheap and nice stores selling shoes and bags.
A place to visit once a year perhaps, to follow the fashion ;)

As it says in title. Venice is a wonderful place for lovers.
I hope I visit Venice one more time in my life. But not alone this time..
By the way the government is said to be helping the current dwellers of Venice for buying out or renting houses out of town to protect the original place. Only some few local people who are really old remain in town. There is a really low possibility to see children within the area.

I’ve been in Bournemouth during the summer, 1998.
But it wasn’t that hot, especially if you will be going there from a mediterranean country like me, it feels like spring. Mostly rainy. It is a cool place with little traffic though, even a place to live in peace during the day-time. But beware of the fanatic racists at night. One of my friends got stabbed while returning home.

Stonehenge is a very mystic and nice place but if you keep walking with your head up looking at the stones you may end up stepping on a sh*t like me, so be careful :)
