I went in winter, and there wasn’t much fresh produce, but there was lots of other good fresh food: cheeses, butter, hot sauces, meat, fish, preserves, oatmeals, cheesecakes, etc. I’m going to go back in the warmer months, when I’m sure it will be even better.

Tremendous fun—the best new year’s eve I’ve had in years, and possibly ever!

Best holiday I’ve ever had. Ever. I climbed mountains, and bathed in rivers, and stood under waterfalls, and soaked in hot pools, and lounged in mud baths and saw dolphins and drank from clear sparkling streams, and had a fabulous time from start to finish. Wonderful.

Sulphur-y and full of hot springs and pools. Stinky, but wonderful (and you get used to the smell after a while).

The hike there and back was tough, but once you got there, it was beautiful. And, having gotten there, you could really take the time to enjoy and appreciate the gorgeous views on the way back. I’m glad I did it, but I don’t know if I’d do it again!

In less than a fortnight, I will be chilling in the beautiful island of Dominica. Things to look forward to: whale watching, mud baths, rum punch, a walking tour of Roseau, a visit to Carib Territory, and a long tough hike up to the Boiling Lake. All less than 2 weeks away. It’s going to be fantastic!

Fantastic museum. I loved, loved, loved it. Love their special feature exhibits. This is a museum I could vist and revisit over and over again.

Can’t really say whether it was worth visiting or not. I went as a little girl, made the requisite trip to Disneyworld, but can’t really remember anything much else about the trip. Except hearing Paul Simon’s Graceland album for the first time and falling in love with it, but that’s not really relevant, is it?

Spent a few days there a few years ago and quite liked it. Nice town, not too big, beautiful buildings, character. Felt like it would be a nice place to live.

A wonderful place to just wander through or just sit down and chill out. Especially nice in spring, early summer when things are getting green and warm; so many people come out to the park to walk and talk and play and relax, and the vibe is just mellow and fun and fantastic and happy.
