Nice beaches, lots of cool culture. I’ll admit, the peddlers are annoying, but you can’t really get away from them no matter where you go. Friendly people, too. It’s just a very laid-back atmosphere.

Mexico, North America

If you do it right...

The border towns are great for high school students that think it’s cool to be able to drink, and they certainly take advantage of that! However, there are far better places to see for the natural and cultural aspects of Mexico. Cabo San Lucas is just paradise. Secluded beaches, pelicans, sea lions, cliffs. Just gorgeous. Cozumel has a lot of great nature on it as well. Almost half of it is preserved by a man who bought the land and does not allow any development to go onto it. He allows tourists to take ATV or horseback rides onto the property to see the few ruins that still exist and you can catch glimpses of parrots and iguanas living in the wild. They have an extremely low amount of crime there. Ask any tour guide to give you the run down of Cozumel’s history and you’ll be amazed!
