Medina is a small town in Western New York located between Rochester and Buffalo. My family’s summer cottage is located in a campground in Medina. We are there every summer! DH and I were even married there!!

This was incredible. We were not allowed to enter the mosque here since most of us were women! It was very interesting to see a primarily Muslim city.

We got stuck in Irkutsk over night. Aeroflat, the national airline of the Soviet Union, ran out of fuel. So we were stuck there. It was beautiful though!!

This was amazing. While the Soviet people were starving this was kept as a museum to the way things once were. The picture is of our group’s slippers that we had to rent in order to step inside the palace since the floors were marble.

I went to the now former Soviet Union in 1991. It was just weeks before the coup. I loved it!!

I love the Old Toad. I wish I could get there more often especially on Monday nights for Trivia Night.
