Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Kinda dull

Like most small Midwestern cities, the Olive Garden is the principal restaurant of choice when visiting out-of-town relatives come by.

If you live in a metropolitan area, you might be picking up on my snarkiness here.

Black Hills, South Dakota

My parents live here...

Wall Drug, Wall

Er...it's a long line of...drugstores.

Growing up in Nebraska, I had seen an awful lot of “I’ve been to WALLDRUG” bumper stickers, and maybe it was the hype, but I was expecting more than five blocks of a gigantic old-fashioned drug store. shrug Then again, if you’re into small bottles topped with corks, you oughta go.
