Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado

Untitled

It’s a tad crowded for what it is which makes is harder to imagine this place as it might have been back in the day, still it is pretty amazing. If you go give yourself time to hike around and take a tour. The tour guides are packed with interesting ‘did you know’s’.

Monument Valley, The Navajo Nation

Untitled

This is a place you have to be patient with. You want to take it all in immediately, soaking it up; but each square mile is beautiful in a different way and changes in every hour of light. It’s a good place to be quiet and photograph a sort of deafening peacfulness. I loved monument valley, and I hope to go back very soon!

Grand Canyon National Park, Coconino County

Untitled

It is beautiful! Really stunning, but if you’re going to go, try to give yourself time to hike to the bottom and back up (it’s an overnight hike). From the top a lot of it looks the same. There are a lot of gift shops, not a ton of information on the place, but plenty of photo opportunities. Also, don’t hike between 12:00 and 4:00 pm. It gets blistering hot, and at the higher elevation people have difficulty sucking the oxygen out of the thin air. Happy Trails!
