I saw Jewel perform there. Awesome and beautiful. A must see!!! I can’t wait to go there again.

I love the shows and the atomosphere—less the smoke. Gambling…eh, at most, I play slots. Otherwise, fun! I have a 3 day maximum. After that, I can hardly breathe.

Just want to go see what the fuss is all about. People I’ve spoken with rave about this place, but come on…it’s Jersey! I can’t imagine this place ever topping Vegas!

My DH and I were traveling from the east the the west coast. This was one of the places we stopped. We wanted to see this before we even headed to our hotel, but didn’t have a local map of the area right on hand. We drove around for awhile trying to find this place, and then we finally drove down the road that leads right to it. It’s a beautiful memorial.

It’s cool. They offer living history tours and you can enjoy the Cliff walk, too.

Smaller than expected, but who cares—-you get a miniature free sample at the end. I had the oatmeal cookie ice cream. OMG. Hooked, but I can’t seem to find it in the stores anymore. Perhaps they sent it to the graveyard =(

This was my honeymoon destination. We biked, shopped, relaxed, rode some horses, had a picnic on the beach. I have nothing but great memories of this place! One day, I’ll go back =)

...we were driving nowhere…just taking random roads with no particular place to go. We like to do that. We came upon Manitou Springs. They were having a festival. There was a nice band playing…called…um, The Peace Sign!

Anyways, it’s a great place to check out. Do it someday. I think I’ll go look up “The Peace Sign” band now =).

Took riding lessons. Excellent…but I’m still on the bunny slopes.

Mmmmm! Try the “Spirit Cake” while you’re there. Layer zucchini cake with cream cheese frosting and fresh fruit. The best I ever had! =D I wish I could replicate it!
