The sheer size of this place was mind blowing.

I can’t recommend highly enough visiting Pompeii – and Napoli, of course. Just amazing.

I’d much prefer to be in Rome or Venice…to each their own!

I was sick the one day I spent there and didn’t do anything but sleep. :(

Not my cup of tea…but then again, I grew up in SF. :)

This was a side trip from NY and I didn’t end up in any major cities there, which was fine by me. I stayed in a B&B for just a night – the Stonebridge Inn – which was picturesque. PA in general was beautiful to drive through and I’d like to go back.

It was more beautiful than I had expected.

its a farce.

But I’ve only been in the winter (75 in Savannah, 21 in Seattle at the time). I couldn’t imagine a sweltering summer. blech.
