Wow! Amazing city. Copacabana beach was nice, but watch out for the crime. There are a lot of peddlers and prostitutes, and I don’t quite know the details but a guy I know got drugged (probably through his drink), and beaten up and robbed. He had to go to the hospital, and the drugs still didnt wear off for like 3 days. He remebers very little. So WACH YOSELF!

I found out today I will be on the Pan Am team afterall, despite losing in the National final. Rio, here comes Jamie!

Of course it’s worth visiting, it’s in Canada isn’t it?

We had a tournament in Martigny. Very nice little city, shopping if you like, .. yeah just a good place to find yourself walking through. We got second as a team (Canada) at the first Swiss Grand Prix. They treated us very good- (thanks!)

Went here for a training camp, then a competition in Minsk. We stayed at the Olympic training center which was no five-star, let me just say that. This is the camp, it was pretty good I learned a lot.

Toronto- if you can’t find something to do in Toronto, you won’t find it anywhere. CN tower, Rogers Dome, concerts, CNE Exibition, the night life, the shopping…
Niagara Falls- a bit of a tourist trap I’ll admit, but it can fill a couple of days if you go to Marine Land and shop lots.
Muskoka/Algonquin- there’s not many places left in the world that are purely unadulterated or spoiled, this is one.

A lot of our experiences are influences by the people we shared them with, and for me to meet up with my cousin and his happy mates’ meant a gaurenteed good time. We went to a movie theatre 13 stories high if I’m not mistaken, and let me say theres no lack of things to do in this city. As well it’s a good node for the start of a trip along the Scottish countryside.

My likes for this city were the Grand Bazaar, the Muslim priests calling out their tune, and the smog. No wait, that was my dislike. Watch your pockets at the bazaar and be weary even in your hotel room (got a bag stolen after I left w/ my door open 5 minutes- good hotel too).
I’m sure there’s lots to enjoy, I didn’t really get time to check this place out all too much.
