You have to go down to the massive cave (Sumaging I believe is the name, it’s the biggest one in Sagada) !!!

Bats will be pooping on you while you crawl down in the dark, makes you feel like Gollum fumbling for his lost ring…

But it sure will be worth it once you’ve reached the cave’s center. This time you’ll feel like you’ve found Narnia.

Rent a car with a GPS system if you’re a tourist…you do NOT want to be commuting in LA and surrounding cities. Come here during sunny days, LA sucks when it’s raining (rainy season from January – March)...Great Sept to December. Summers are a little too hot for me but it works for a lot of people so don’t count summer months out if you can handle dry heat. West LA doesn’t get too hot.

See Santa Monica (3rd Street Promenade), Long Beach, Old Town Pasadena…skip Hollywood unless you really have to go see it (too touristy). Oh and traffic SUCKS in Hollywood on weekend nights.

Check out Orange County cities like Newport Beach and Irvine.
Check out events because there are a ton of events especially concerts in Los Angeles.

Visit the Apache Trail which is just about a 30 minute drive from Tempe.

Check out street performers, watch out for awesome sales…I love this shop called Zara for clothes.

I’ve worked here for 2 years and counting. 3rd street promenade is my favorite spot. Parking buildings don’t charge too much, pretty cheap actually for an expensive city. Always read traffic signs when parking on streets though. Parking fines probably make up most of the city’s income lol. Also check out the bars and shops on Main Street.

And this video store called Cinephile along Santa Monica Blvd and Sawtelle (I believe it’s Sawtelle). They have EVERYTHING movie-wise.

Get there early because shops close early.

Get the evening tour. Buy tickets in advance at blueandgoldfleet.com because the tickets run out fast. And you skip the line to the ticket booth since they have a kiosk where you print out your online-bought tickets. Make sure you bring the credit card used to purchase tickets. The view of San Francisco is amazing from the boat.

Get a map, drive around the city because it’s real easy to navigate. Check out all the scenic spots especially Twin Peaks (just south of Golden Gate Park and Castro), the bridge (of course), Muirwoods to see the redwood trees (about 30 minutes north of the the city) and Alcatraz. Go to blueandgoldfleet.com to buy tickets in advance for the Alcatraz evening tour because these tickets run out fast.
