The architecture blew my mind. Magnificent imposing buildings that made me want to cry. Not pretty…just solid and mean. Loved it.

It’s great! Kind of shabby cool. There was heaps of fish and chips and cheap B&Bs and things there should be at the seaside. I like all the dead boats on the west side and the swans i the lake

Dahl can bust a rhyme and tell a tale tell like no one else. It’s also about the best museum I’ve been too (and I’ve been to tons). You get to make silly words (like whiffcious jigster), play with shadow puppets, make your own movies, sit in Mr Dahl’s chair and make all sorts of crafty things. There’s the Twits Cafe and the Scrumdiddilyumptious Shop (which has great kids books and all sorts of biddily bobs). It’s just so much fun! And the village was cute too.
