i still owe this library ninety dollars for some bulgarian language books & tapes I took out two years ago and never returned…grins sheepishly. I’m a terrible library offender. I’ll give them back as soon as I get back to Denver! Honest!

i spent three months in the bay area, staying at hostels and friend’s apartments. i lived out of a van - acquired in oakland - for a bit as well. go to the marin headlands in the early morning, before the sun rises…i saw a family of deer move across the vantage point this photo was taken from.
