That’s really the only word for PEI…lovely and CHARMING…filled with charismatic gabled houses, beautiful red sand beaches and lush farmland…loved the Charlottetown waterfront – if you’re even in Charlottetown, have the corn and lobster chowder at the Merchantman’s Pub.

All that said, however, it was also incongruently modern…I met two of the creepiest panhandlers I’ve ever encountered while wandering through Charlottetown!

I live in Vancouver and travel BC’s Sea to Sky highway frequently…and I thought I knew what true Canadian beauty was…UNTIL I travelled the Cabot Trail. Such a varied and ancient landscape, so peaceful, SO green…I loved the highs and lows of the road, the feeling of being at the top of the world, watching the sun gleam ABOVE the clouds, looking down on the them as though from Heaven…the angles of the hills…and of course, seeing many different types of beautiful Canadian birds, and a moose to boot! HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

We mostly only spent time in NB to get from Quebec to Nova Scotia and PEI…that said, however, it’s a lovely place, and a BIG one!
