most people from others states, or mostly from other regions, don’t understand what it’s like to drive on the turnpike, not that it’s anything amazing. it’s just…so new jersey. it adds a lot to your perspective of the state, and it’s so essential for travel to pretty much anywhere important.
over 6 years agoonly reason it’s worth visiting is because oxnard and ventura combined have what santa barbara lacks, and it’s the closest drive to many shopping centers for us ucsb students.
over 6 years agoi absolutely loved monterey! i’ve gone at least once a year since i was 8 years old. It’s just so pretty, and calm. The aquarium is amazing, too.
