Not worth visiting!
A review of this place: Doesn't live up to the hype
Like someone already said…the amount of homeless is STAGGERING. If you want to go for a wake-up call, by all means, do it. The city is pretty boring and unexciting. I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio and the little city of Cincinnati was more alive than downtown Los Angeles. Beverly Hills, Hollywood, & Rodeo Drive aren’t anything like I thought they would be. I came here preparing to be dazzled and left disappointed. I know too many people who have moved out here with the dream of making it big and are now leaving because they’re going broke trying to live here and there are only hundreds of thousands of people better looking than you looking to do the same thing. Take the unfriendliness of the crankiest New Yorker, multiply it by 1000, add breast implants, a fake tan, streaked hair, and a Luis Vuitton bag…and you’ll have your average LA young-and-beautiful chick. They really do exist. If you like diversity, there’s a lot of it here…being from a mostly Caucasian and African-American population, the large pockets of Hispanic and Asians was interesting to me. People-watching and getting to know different people is the major plus here. Great for a visit…but probably not to live. Check out Orange County…Laguna Beach is always fun to drive through.
