I could not beielve what a clean city it is….hung out on Qweens st. loved it!

The falls were a lot smaller that i had pictured them…..really beautiful.I still take a small water fall in the tropics though….

both of my partents worked at UCLA for most of my life….although i never went there i have spend lots of time on campus….to big of a school for me…..

my father joined the peace corps in the 60’s and moved the whole family over there (all 7 of us) and lived there until 1969. my play time was spent on an army tank in the lagoon. i returned in 2000 with my family and WOW what a change 30 years have made..the house i grew up in nezxt to sugar dock is now a dive shop..i now go to Rota…Rota now is how I remember Saipan….

i have stayed the night in Guam about 10 times….Layover to get on a smaller plan and fly to Rota with my kids for a month of diving, and kicking back…..heaven on earth….

i bought a house in SLO last year and try to get there as much as I can. it’s an awesome town..my son goes to cal poly and lives in the house…..not like when i was in college….how times have changed..BEST FARMERS MARKET IHAVE EVER BEEN TO….

i went to the site about 6 months after 9/11….people standing around looking at this hole in the earth and the buildings around the site still covered with tarps was unreal…..it was almost as i could feel the souls lost on that day. ...if you did not know what had happened there…..you would just think it a big construction site in the middle of the city

Moorea was the island my husband and I stayed on and had a wonderful time…...so much so i ending up making a baby on that island and gave her the middle name of Moorea…...

When i was 18 i went to Liberia for 3 months to stay with my brother who was in the peace corps. the first day there they hung 6 people in the center of town and let them hang there all day. other than that i have the most beautiful memories of Liberia. It breaks my heart with all that is going on there over the past 20 years
