Guatemala, Central America And The Caribbean

Untitled by teo09

I heard a rumor I won’t be able to go in 2007 after all. My spring break at the university does not coincide with the week that church group is doing their service there. Looks like this may have to wait until 2008.

CBGB's, East Village

Untitled by teo09

I regret not visiting inside before it closed. This place is basically my next door neighbor and it was crowded every night I passed by it.

Alcatraz, San Francisco

Untitled by teo09

I’ve lived in San Francisco for years, but I never visited Alcatraz. I knew it was there, so I never felt rushed to go. Finally went there yesterday — it was really great. The views are just incredible. Make sure you bring a camera and take pics in the cells and on the boat to and from the island. Don’t miss this gem in your backyard pool just because you “know it’s always there”!

James de la Vega's Sidewalk Chalk Art, East Village

Untitled by teo09

One dreary morning, I peered out my window overlooking my residence’s courtyard and to my surprise, the courtyard was written all over. By whom? None other than de la Vega. He got permission from residence security to draw all over our courtyard. It brightened my day for sure.

I felt so fat. Their portions are huge. I always ordered it like fast food through the drive thru.

Bayview, San Francisco

Untitled by teo09

I ate at Dago Mary’s restaurant right there in the naval shipyard. Long-time restaurant in the area. It’s the only reason I find to go through Bayview-Hunters Point, because through the restaurant windows I can see why the area’s called Bayview. You can see clear across from downtown SF, the whole Bay Bridge, and south into the East Bay. Really nice views.

Sutro Tower, Twin Peaks

Untitled by teo09

Well, I haven’t been been to it. I’ve just sought it out from various locations in SF. I’d rather literally visit Twin Peaks for a view of SF due to fear of radiation at Sutro Tower.

Soarin' Over California, Disney's California Adventure

Untitled by teo09

Best thing about California Adventure! So fun. I especially like the smells they throw at you as you’re “soaring” over parts of California. For example, you smell orange while flying over orange trees.

Universal CityWalk Hollywood, Universal Studios

A little electric ball thing in some store shocked my finger! I’ve played with those electric things many times before, but that was the first time I ever got shocked by one.
