It’s loads emptier in the summer, but when I visited for research I expected rain rain and more rain, but in the 7 weeks I stayed, it only rained twice.
Definitely check out the Shakespeare plays they put on during the summer!
over 4 years agoLovely and enchanting and everything a Shakespeare fan could want, but do make sure to visit the Tate Modern Museum as well! It’s only a short walk from the Globe. Also, Southwark gave me the impression of being sort of creepy at night. Go with friends.
