In love in Manhatten

I’ve only been the once, but I will go back…I was 18 and mad for a boy going to Cooper Union who I went to visit. We spent a week wandering the crevices of the city. The unique feeling of this place is unforgettable, it has pulse, a breath, you feel it like this great living thing. In the end I don’t know if I was more smitten with him or with the city.

I’ve been to the Algarve and it was wonderful. There are many interesting towns to visit in addition to the beaches. The people are friendly, happy and down to earth. It’s easy to feel at home here.

Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

My boy and I spent a week there before the season started, so we got to see it quiet and touristless. It was lovely. Many beautiful homes, and many friendly people. We are planning a move to Canada (my home) from Germany (his), and will try to find someplace in this area because we just loved it!
