Denis Place

Worth visiting!

7 years & counting

Located at Wayang Street, Denis Place has been around for ages by Kuching standards. Why? Because Denis understands the meaning of quality, consistancy and good service.

He’s also one heck of a decorator, as you can see from the photo!

The food is excellent, although some may consider it a bit on the expensive side.

It’s a great place to hang out.

Not worth visiting!

I lived in Singapore for a couple of months and hated it. It’s great for shopping though.

If you have the money.

Perth

Worth visiting!

Long ago

I went to Perth when I was about 13, which is a good number of years ago!

New sights, secondhand book stores, fish & chips by the sea, gulls that’ll pluck away a chip you toss into the sky, black swans, lots of flies, chocolate, an amusement park, a petting zoo, and the discovery that kangaroos growl like dogs.

I want to go back and revisit it with the eyes and freedom of an adult.

Sarawak Cultural Village

Worth visiting!

In one place

This is the nearest we can get to an amusement park, albeit an educational one!

Let’s not forget that SCV is also the venue for the Rainforest World Music Festival:

Home sweet home

I live here actually, and I’d be pleased to answer questions.
