Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway, Amboy

"The Best Place in America"

I’ve been going camping at Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway for 21 years. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. If you want tranquility this is the place to go. If you like to camp this is the place to go. Lake Merwin is connected to Yale Lake and Swift Reservoir, and is damed at the West end.

I highly recommend this place. There hasn’t been one person that we’ve taken up there that hasn’t liked it. There is absolutely NO hunting inside the campground, so you must be animal lovers.

It’s a private campground so you have to be a member. There is a security team that is on duty 24 hours a day. You need a card key to enter the campground. Each member has their own site that is accessible 24 hours a day 365 days a year (if the roads are clear from snow). You never have to make reservations or worry about sites being taken, because it’s yours. They have a pool/sauna/hot tub, miniature golf course, playgrounds, swim area in the lake, etc.

Beaverton, Oregon

Untitled

I used to live here. I miss Oregon/Portland/Beaverton!

It’s a great place to live, which is why it’s getting so crowded. :-)

Escondido, North County

Untitled

It’s a little suburb of San Diego, like Beaverton is to Portland in Oregon.

I know a lot of people who live there. :-) It’s a cool place.

My thoughts are with everyone who was effected by the Witch Creek fire, and all the other fires in Southern California.
